Neuracle, BrainCo and Arfysica line up for China's first BCI stock listings
Neuracle seeks about $345 million on Shanghai's STAR Market; BrainCo has filed in Hong Kong; none has priced yet.
Three Chinese brain-computer interface companies are in the queue to go public, though none has priced an offering yet:
- Neuracle Medical, maker of the first commercially approved implanted BCI, filed for Shanghai’s STAR Market (prospectus accepted June 11) and is targeting about RMB 2.5 billion (US$345 million).
- BrainCo, which makes non-invasive EEG headbands and bionic hands, filed confidentially in Hong Kong in January.
- Arfysica Innovation, a rehabilitation-focused company, has only just begun preparing a STAR Market listing.
Public listings would give investors their first pure-play BCI stocks, following China’s push to commercialize the technology.
