Cognito Therapeutics raises $105 million ahead of pivotal Alzheimer's results
Its Spectris headset delivers 40 Hz light and sound stimulation at home; the fully enrolled HOPE study is due to read out this year.
Cognito Therapeutics has raised a $105 million Series C led by Morningside Ventures, IAG Capital Partners and Starbloom Capital. Its Spectris system, prescribed by physicians and used at home, delivers coordinated 40 Hz visual and auditory stimulation intended to influence brain rhythms in Alzheimer’s disease. The pivotal HOPE study is fully enrolled, with topline data expected in 2026. Cognito is aiming for FDA submission and a 2027 launch.
HOPE will be one of the largest tests yet of whether sensory stimulation can slow Alzheimer’s decline.
