55,000-patient study supports early use of Theranica's migraine wearable

Published in Cephalalgia, real-world data show treating within an hour of onset nearly doubled the chance of pain relief with Nerivio.

An analysis of more than 55,000 people using Theranica’s Nerivio, an arm-worn device that treats migraine with remote electrical neuromodulation, was published in the journal Cephalalgia. Starting treatment within an hour of migraine onset nearly doubled the likelihood of pain relief and of becoming pain-free compared with treating later.

Early treatment is known to help with migraine drugs. This is one of the largest datasets to show the same for a drug-free neuromodulation device. The data are real-world and observational rather than from a randomized trial.
