Revi is implanted near the ankle with no internal battery and powered by a wearable; three-year data showed lasting benefit.

BlueWind Medical has closed $47.8 million in combined equity and debt financing to expand sales of its Revi system for urgency urinary incontinence. Revi is implanted near the ankle in a short outpatient procedure and stimulates the posterior tibial nerve. It has no internal battery or leads, and a lightweight wearable powers it. Three-year results from the pivotal OASIS study showed lasting effectiveness and 95% patient satisfaction.

Tibial nerve implants are a busy area: Boston Scientific agreed to buy competitor Valencia Technologies in January (our coverage).
