Enspire DBS Therapy raises $10.3 million for its pivotal stroke-recovery trial
The funds support RESTORE, which pairs deep brain stimulation with rehabilitation for people with lasting arm weakness after stroke.
Cleveland-based Enspire DBS Therapy has raised a $10.3 million Series B1 led by Genesys Capital, with Cleveland Clinic and JobsOhio Ventures participating. The money will continue enrollment in RESTORE, a multicenter pivotal trial pairing deep brain stimulation of the cerebellum with structured outpatient rehabilitation for people with chronic arm impairment after stroke. Interim results are expected in mid-2027.
It is one of several efforts to harness neuroplasticity for stroke recovery long after standard rehabilitation ends.
