NeuroBionics raises $10 million for hair-thin fibers that stimulate nerves through blood vessels
The seed round, led by Future Ventures, backs flexible carbon-based fibers designed to reach deep targets without open surgery.
NeuroBionics has closed a $10 million oversubscribed seed round led by Future Ventures. The company makes hair-thin, flexible, carbon-based fibers that deliver neuromodulation through blood vessels, aiming to reach deep brain and peripheral nerve targets without open surgery. It is starting with short-term peripheral nerve stimulation and working toward first-in-human studies.
The approach resembles Synchron’s endovascular BCI, applied here to stimulation.
