Omniscient Neurotechnology raises $27.2 million for AI brain-mapping software
Its FDA-cleared Quicktome maps each patient's brain networks; a new CPT code creates a US reimbursement route.
Sydney-founded Omniscient Neurotechnology has raised a $27.2 million (AU$41.1 million) Series D led by OIF Ventures and Australia’s National Reconstruction Fund Corporation. Its FDA-cleared Quicktome platform uses AI and MRI to map an individual patient’s brain networks for language, movement and cognition, helping plan neurosurgery. A new CPT code (1039T) creates a reimbursement pathway in the US.
The company plans to expand US sales and build tools for brain-computer interfaces, stroke and movement disorders.
