Paralysis-focused fund SCI Ventures invests in Precision Neuroscience
The mission-driven fund, co-founded by the Reeve Foundation, Wings for Life and Spinal Research, brings patient and clinical networks as well as capital.
SCI Ventures, which describes itself as the first mission-driven venture fund focused on paralysis, has invested in Precision Neuroscience. The fund was co-founded by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, Wings for Life and Spinal Research. Alongside money, it offers access to clinicians, regulatory experts and patient advocates to help bring Precision’s brain-computer interface to people with paralysis.
The investment links one of the leading BCI companies with the spinal cord injury community, the people its devices are meant to serve.
