electroCore posts record quarterly sales but lowers its 2026 forecast
The nerve stimulation company reported $9.7 million in third-quarter sales, now expects $39 million to $42 million for 2026, and has asked the FDA to clear Quell for chemotherapy-related nerve pain.
electroCore reported on November 4 that third-quarter net sales rose about 12% to a record $9.7 million, while its net loss narrowed to $1.3 million from $3.4 million a year earlier. The maker of gammaCore vagus nerve stimulators and Quell wearables now expects 2026 revenue of $39 million to $42 million, replacing an earlier forecast of more than 30% growth. In October it also filed a 510(k) seeking FDA clearance of Quell for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, after the FDA recommended that route over De Novo.
The figures are company-reported, and the FDA submission is still pending. electroCore held about $7.5 million in cash and securities at the end of September, and it says about 17,700 Veterans Affairs patients have received a gammaCore device. It aims for its first quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA by the end of 2027.
